In case Twitter goes to zero

This is me hedging my bets

I’m starting this Substack is a placeholder for my shortform writing in case Twitter worst-case scenarios are realized. Or perhaps that should read “best-case scenarios”. I’m not sure if Twitter is life-improving or life-crushing.

I’m not planning on updating this regularly until or unless Twitter really does die or other major circumstances change. It seems like a better hedge than any platform that involves something called “tooting”. You can continue to find my longform writing at FiveThirtyEight.
